We were looking for a modern, glamorous cutlery set at a reasonable price and this set is perfect. Solid, feels good in the hand, with a certain glam factor in gold. Note that the cutting/serrated edges of the knives are actually short (these are NOT slicing knives, look elsewhere for a dedicated set of steak knives) and the bowls of the spoons are quite wide; Looks great, but shouldn't be alarming. But overall very satisfied. The coating holds up well even after several washes.
