Review on 🧳 VMSTR Travel Vacuum Storage Bags with Electric Pump - Space Saver Bags for Travel & Home Use (Pack of 6) by Kevin Wilkins

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Poor quality control

When I opened the packaging it was clear that it had been opened earlier and sent back. Received it the day before I left, so I could only hope for the best. The first bag (of six) I packed had a leak, but it wasn't obvious until the bag was full and I bled air Out. I heard a hissing noise and it was obvious that air was getting in somehow. Eventually I found the leak and put a piece of tape over it, but that didn't help. I had to take *everything* and repack it into another bag. The second package appears to be well sealed. Then I put the memory foam pillow in the third pocket. It also appeared to be well sealed, but by the time I got to my destination it was unsealed and expanded a bit. When it came time to pack at the end of the trip, the bag my pillow didn't hold the seal in long enough to pack it in, and the bag with my clothes somehow got a hole (despite lying untouched on the overhead closet within 3 weeks). In the end I just threw the bags away and just shoved my stuff in there to fit in my suitcase. Very unpleasant. When I got home the returns window had closed and I just threw away the rest of the poor quality packages. I kept the pump because it seems to be working fine, which is the only reason I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1. But $40 is a lot for a $10 pump. I'm hoping this will work on some of my existing vacuum bags.
