This thing is tiny (see attached photo compared to a US quarter coin)! But that's a great achievement. It fits easily into my 8GB music library and I have no problem finding songs or playing anything I've downloaded that I had with my latest (non-Sandisk) player. Pros: Small size makes a discreet item that won't crowd a pocket or bag. Good disk space. The internal battery holds its charge well. album because I haven't tried it yet). Comes with everything you need to use it. Has real buttons instead of a touchscreen so you can feel what you're pressing (love that on an MP3 player). surprisingly helpful. Cons: Two (count them, 2) volume levels: Normal and High. (wrong, see edit below) Super tiny (see picture, about 2.5 quarters long and 1.5 wide), you can lose it in your pocket or purse. The clip will likely break before the rest of the product (it's plastic, I'm not expecting much). General assessment: My pro list is much larger than my con list, as you can easily see. To be honest, the only downside I see as a problem in the 2 volume setting. On the "Normal" setting it's loud enough that I can use it on a bus full of people, but for me this setting is a little loud for a quiet place. I'd love to see a more accurate volume control, but I'm willing to put up with it because I love this product. It's simple in design and its interface was so simple that I tried things like shuffle mode in an artist to find it would only play that artist (again, I didn't check the album). It met my needs for music playback, which it could have handled quite well. I like that I don't need any extra parts or cables and that it's not a touchscreen (I hate that kind of thing). I thought the clip was silly when I first got it, but now I see its use. I clip it to my shirt when I walk or on the bus because it's easily accessible and stays in place. I think this is one of the best MP3 players you can get without getting too carried away and I would definitely recommend it to a friend. 5 stars because the minus is minor and I like everything else more than enough to make up for it. Edit: 10-12-15 I was wrong; A precise volume control is located on the side of the MP3 player. I found it by accident as it is very small and is to the left of the object. With this information my main shortcoming disappears. This is the perfect MP3 player.
