Very nice belt. Looks like real leather. The ratchet system is amazing - it allows you to adjust the strap in very small increments and locks in place very securely. It doesn't slip at all and after two weeks of wearing it seems like it hasn't stretched even a little. The buckle was a real surprise - at this price point you would expect the metal to be cheap and flimsy, but that's not the case. - The metal is thick, strong and very heavy. It's clearly well done. I'm not sure how they charge $16 for these things and make a profit. The only con with this belt - and it's not a real cheat - is that the mechanism that lets you undo the belt again can be a little fiddly until you get the hang of it. There is a small latch on the underside of the buckle that needs to be pulled forward to release. Once I figured it out I had no trouble with it, but I'd practice a few times so you don't end up pulling on a belt that doesn't futilely come loose in one of those situations in life where you need to take the belt off quickly.
