Although this device is NOT an isolation transformer, it CAN BE MODIFIED by disconnecting the ground wire at INPUT GROUND and disconnecting it from chassis ground and wrapping the free end of the wire with electrical tape. Then turn off the electrical ground that powers the SOCKETS! Then disconnect the ground wire (GREEN) from the (WHITE) wire of the NEUTRAL (WHITE) wire of the transformer input. Wrap the free ends of the ground wires with tape and DO NOT connect all the green wires together, THIS ISOLATES all ground connections and makes this unit safe for use by electronics technicians with expensive debugging equipment and personal protection with HOT CHASSIS radios, TVs and other very old equipment !
