Review on Spicer 5 795X U Joint Kit by Ryan Eastman

For a premium product the design is HORRIBLE! The "plastic" bearing shell seal is completely unsuitable for this application. 1 U-piece came with the cup already broken and the machine shop that installed the U-pieces broke 2 on installation. I would NOT buy these devices again and would recommend potential buyers to look elsewhere. The GM U-Hinges lasted 17 years (173,000 miles) and were of excellent design. I send defective devices back. I recommend finding a product with a stronger needle bearing seal (the mechanic said they had metal).
