tl;dr: There is a learning curve, but I highly recommend it.

I've been looking for a pen display for a long time. Pen displays are basically screens that you can draw on, such as B. the Wacom Cintiq. The fact is I don't have any money for Cintiq and never will. So my decision was to look for alternatives. The Gaomon PD1560 was highly recommended by several artists and reviewers that I really like, which is why I bought it. A week has passed, but I've only been able to test it for the last few days. I'll tell you about my experience: it was very easy to assemble everything. The kit even includes a tool to screw the display bracket into place, which is very useful by the way. You can draw from different angles depending on your comfort level. Another thing I really liked was the ability to rotate the screen to accommodate my left-handed person. If I don't rotate the screen, I sometimes accidentally hit the express keys. The express keys are very useful since the tablet does not have a touchscreen. To be honest it was a little strange for me to get used to as I'm used to drawing on the iPad Pro, but it really isn't a problem once you draw more. But what's it like to draw with this thing? First, the pen pressure works great. Here is an image showing different lines. I had no problems with that. The grip is also very good; It's shaped like a real pen and doesn't have the odd curves like some other buttons you might find on other displays. There is a certain parallax. Parallax is the distance between the pen tip and the actual position of the cursor on the screen. I've never experienced parallax before and it hampers some drawing details, especially if you're used to drawing with fast strokes. Eventually you'll learn to force yourself to draw in a way that reduces parallax, but remember it's there and will be there on every other pen display. small adjustments to make it look perfect. The screen is very good and it comes with a protective film which I immediately threw away because. I do not know? It just felt a bit strange and the experience of drawing directly on the screen just got a lot better. The last thing I want to mention is the Gaomon support. I had a major parallax problem when I first turned on the display, but that was only because I was stupid and forgot to match the resolution to the display's resolution. The thing is, I didn't know this and literally sent a message to Gaomon support on Sunday at 8pm and got an immediate response. I know they are based in China but that really shocked me. Rest well good Gaomones. May I recommend it? Yes. Does it have a learning curve? It does. But if you're looking for an alternative to Cintiq, it seems to be one of the best out there.
