Works well without aluminum. If only it weren't so expensive. Also a bit loose. I'm a singer who sweats a lot when performing and even when I'm not performing it can be a challenge to prevent the pit smell without using an aluminum containing product or a baking soda product. After giving up The Secret I tried Schmidt, which worked great for about a year. Then I got horrible, itchy, painful rashes. So either their chemistry changed or mine (they told me nothing had changed and their customer service was excellent with possible solutions, but nothing we tried solved the problem). Then I tried Herban Cowboy, which was pretty reasonable and better than nothing, but still didn't work well enough. Based on the reviews here, I tried Takesumi. To start, I ordered the small size (0.49 oz) in lime/mint. I made a parallel comparison: Herban Cowboy put on one bone and a new one on the other. I immediately noticed a dramatic difference. This worked much better and lasted longer. Pros: - It really works for me. It worked from the first app, which is a little different from what others have experienced. I didn't have to wait; He controlled the smell from day one. It didn't irritate my skin at all. First, I applied baby powder (cornstarch, not talc), but even without that protective layer, everything is fine. Even right after the shave! It smells nice but the scent is very light. Virtually absent. Cons: - Expensive. 0.49 oz caliber is small, like tiny test or travel size. I've found that I have to be careful not to push it too far down the tube because it will crumble and/or break completely and I'll have to push it back in. in and form back into a stick. A few times I've just taken a pea-sized amount and rubbed it between my palms and applied it like a deodorant cream. Upon application, this scent creates a kind of cooling sensation that can last for a while and feels pretty tiny. A little weird. I personally don't mind feeling minty armpits like they just chewed certs, but some people like it. I don't know if this is the same for other scents. All in all, despite the cost, I'll probably continue to use this device. I'd rather take something that works, even if it costs more.
