I've been trying to stop my dog from barking excessively for 7 years! I have tried the training collar and two other tone and shock collars. (cheaper) Over the years my dogs barking has intensified. He barked at everyone, the neighbors came and went, etc. And without stopping. We're retired, so we've put a lot of effort into it. We have had this collar for ten days now. He's healed! We had to put him in a mode where he gets electrocuted every time he barks. 5 strength. Now let's switch it to another mode where it can bark once or twice without being shocked. I struggled to buy a bark collar because I thought it was cruel. Our dog is the happiest because she goes out and stays home as long as she wants. The neighbors are happy and so are we. Also, I charged it when we received it and ten days later it's still working. We also have an underground fence for sporting dogs. We've had it for nine years now and haven't had any problems with it. I kick myself for not buying it sooner.
