When I bought these for myself I was expecting on ear headphones as advertised. When I took them out of the box they were a lot smaller than I initially expected and clearly would NOT be over my ear. I wanted in my ear as I have a lot of earrings and when something sits on these earrings for a long period of time (even just 30 minutes) it hurts and gives me a headache. Well, unfortunately they sit right in the ears and cause some discomfort when worn for more than 30-35 minutes, but the sound quality is amazing. It's advertised that you'll feel the bass in your chest, and that's no lie. The music quality is 10x better than my last pair of headphones and they sync perfectly with my phone, no issues at all. Overall, I would have preferred them over the ear, but the sound quality makes up for it.
