Haven't used it yet but assembled and looked at it. I really like it and I may buy another one! The plates are made of porcelain, not cheap plastic. They are heavy and durable and I love that they can be washed straight away in the dishwasher. As I said, I haven't used it yet, but it looks like each plate will hold a decent amount of food. Other types of stands that have this center post bother me because the size of the top plate seems useless since it's so small. The stand itself feels pretty solid and was so easy and quick to put together. Because it can be disassembled for flat storage, it's a lot easier to put away when I'm not using it than other coasters. I also like the fact that it has a more unique shape (rectangular and stepped) than other similar coasters. It's not "fancy" but it just means I have more ways to dress it up depending on the occasion. Sometimes simplicity and functionality are elegant enough that you can let other embellishments do their work, such as: B. adding floral branches or greenery. The price is right too! I am happy with my purchase and look forward to using it soon.
