Love love love these tweezers!

These tweezers are "reverse" tweezers and work with tension - you pinch or squeeze, place the tips around what you want to hold and then relax tweezers. Handle and the tweezers will do that for you. You can then manipulate the item you're working on by keeping the tweezers free - you don't need to apply constant pressure to keep the tips closed, whatever it is. My thumb and hand muscles hurt terribly after using other tweezers due to the stress of constantly pinching. They have a very fine point, perfect for very delicate work. The bumpy rubber surface provides a secure grip between the thumb and forefinger, and the angle of the blades somehow increases the comfort of working with them. These tweezers are amazing! I highly recommend them and have been using them for years. At first I bought them and used them for paper crafts - I worked with tiny scraps of paper. Then I started making my own stamps by gluing tiny pieces of styrofoam onto other pieces of styrofoam. These tweezers are PERFECT for working with tiny pieces! I've also used them in bead and jewelry making, and there's a caveat here: round objects like beads sometimes fly through space and suddenly escape the compression of the tips. (In time I learned to handle the beads, by applying light pressure to the tweezers, as if holding a slick of soap lightly, not tightly.) and I use these tweezers all the time. In fact, both serious glass artists and my friends in the glass shop were so impressed with them that everyone had to have their own pair. I even bought a second pair just to have on hand.

Pros
  • Highly rated by testers for grip and durability
Cons
  • Not as thick as other tweezers
