Review on πŸ’ͺ UMIDIGI Uwatch 3S: Smart Watch with Blood Oxygen & Heart Rate Monitor - 5ATM Waterproof Fitness Tracker for Women and Men - iPhone and Android Compatible by Dee Fadaifar

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not a bad smart watch.

I've been looking for a smartwatch and I already have an Umidigi phone so I thought hey it's cheap why not? Probably my biggest mistake was choosing 3S instead of 2S for my use case, but I have to say that even aside from that flaw, this is a solid watch. It counts steps based on how you wave your hand (which isn't really the best metric since I might add steps waving to someone, so I gave it a 4/5 for accuracy). For a fee I can work several days. but not as long as announced so again 4/5. But the big difference that made me choose the 3S over the 2S was the oxygen saturation monitor. I have obstructive sleep apnea and I REALLY wish I could get some weird readings of my oxygen saturation while I was sleeping to make sure my CPAP is really doing what it's supposed to. And I was able to set up 3S to measure during my sleep cycle, so hooray! However. For some reason it just doesn't measure during my sleep cycle. I can tell him to manually measure my blood oxygen saturation and he will do it, but that won't help me figure out what my levels are when I'm asleep. If I have to press a button to do this, the sleep measurements don't work. So yes. If you're looking for a simple watch that does basic tasks fairly well, then this is a really good option. If you want it to check your oxygen saturation when you're awake (e.g. after a workout) then the 3S could very well be for you. But don't rely on what it measures while you sleep; that's my biggest disappointment in it. Otherwise a solid option.
