My 3 year old grandson loves tools so we have to watch out for him because he "collects" everything he can find and hides it. I recently lost my tape measure this way so I found it and ordered it for him and his 6 year old brother. When I handed it to him and told him to tug on his ear, he was pleased when the tape slipped from his grasp. Then he pushed the button and returned. His second love is his key collection, which he also hoards, so he was thrilled to see a key ring on his measuring tape. He couldn't wait to show his brother. My only disappointment was that I received 4 pink pig measuring tapes. It would be better to take at least 2 kinds. But the boys don't seem to care.
