I was so excited to try this and get some extra space in our drawer but it didn't work. Firstly, the compartments are open on the inside and not separated from each other like above, so things end up going sideways and jumbled up. Second, unless you only have 1 layer of dishes, it sticks out too high, clogging the drawer and not opening it again. We also had to move things to compartments other than the marked ones to even fit the long spoons, making it difficult for our kids and guests to even find things. Even I end up picking the wrong item because you can't see what you're getting. This organizer is a lot harder to work with than the extra 3 inches of drawer space we got and after 10 days of testing I'm going back to our old cutlery tray. Too bad I just returned it earlier.
