NOT COTTON! This is 100% Polyester. I specifically was looking for cotton material as that is what was advertised. I’ve included a pix of the label an listing bring the material. Although it is good sized, soft & a pretty color, it isn’t as described.I’ll keep as a shawl, but will continue my search for a T-shirt towel.

- The size of 23 inches may not be ideal for all women, as it may be too big or small for some neck sizes.
