Superb Premium Quality

As soon as I held these pants in my hands, the first thing that struck me was the quality of the materials! Easily on par with AGV, Built, Joe Rocket or any other gear I have! Thick, durable material and strong stitching! (Grandmother is a dressmaker/seamstress, I know my way around quality materials and sewing.) Cargo pockets are the perfect place for a sport bike and a cruiser. Mid-thigh and right between the front and side of the leg. They seal in well and should stop things from leaking, but it's doubtful they're waterproof. On the other hand, front pockets should help. Like the pleated zipper at the calf and the pleated zipper at the crotch, the zippers are durable and waterproof. The leg ventilation zips also have additional rubber wind and water resistance. I feel like there's no air getting in my pants when driving in 40F and highway speeds. Double layers of thick, durable Cordura in all places you both want to ride. .or slide. The CE armor flexes at the knees to fit securely and comfortably (much more comfortable than my racing leather but slightly less thick). The CE protectors on the thighs have some padding but flex into shape as soon as I start talking to the bike. It's a little lower than my personal preference, but offers adequate protection in the event of an impact. This is where half a star can be deducted, but that's just my personal preference and has nothing to do with the quality or function of these pants: honestly, these are phenomenal pants! Don't twist! I've had a ton of gear over the years and this is an absolute bargain for the price! It can easily cost 2-3 times more and more than worth it! Two points of contention. 1) I'm slightly skinny, under 5ft 8" tall and weigh 150-155 pounds. The Velcro adjustable straps at the bottom aren't exactly small. enough. To be honest, it doesn't matter on the hips, because the pants' anatomical fit is so correct that they don't slip or flap. Where I have a problem is at the bottom of the pants. The Velcro does not close tight enough. I'm skinny, small ankles keep the wind out. The only place I could feel the wind entering the suit was at the leg opening. It's the pants so very little air should escape, but it was full of wind. I easily fix this by using a velcro strap from one of the pulleys I use at work so that the strap wraps completely around my ankle and I can pull it as tight or loose as I like. Price for these pants, I don't know. Simple fix and the situation I've encountered with every piece of gear I've ever had. 2) I CAN'T REMOVE THEM IN MY BOOTS?!?! He honestly pissed me off. These pants fit so well and are so comfortable, so well made and so well armored that that was the only downside of my personal preference. The mesh lining caught in the treads of my combat boots that I wear for riding and got into the armor and I couldn't take them off. Although I was able to unzip the leg and attach the Velcro at the ankle, they just wouldn't wrap around the heel of my boot. Nothing new in terms of overpants, but would still be nice. Conclusion / TLDR: BUY THESE PANTS! You will not regret it
