Definitely blocks a lot of light but hard to see through (because the lenses are smudged/scratched) which may not matter to some but I use self tanner with settings to adjust music, volume, air etc. you aren't as flexible/comfortable as I expected, but not terrible. Better than the $3 you have to buy at most gyms if you don't have a pair with you. Overall not bad for the price. I have a couple of $7 Cali Sun watches that look a little chrome on the outside, which I like a lot more. Please pay special attention to the fact that they cannot be returned.
