My 8 month old puppy eats this product and although we thought he was growing and happy he has thrown up since we bought this product. Four weeks ago she became very ill, she vomited, she refused to drink water and eat. After two days she started to feel better and we let her eat brown rice and eggs for a week before gradually switching her back to puppy food. Exactly two weeks after the first incident, she became very ill again. This time she spent three days with vomiting and uncontrollable diarrhea, again refusing to drink water, and we were very afraid that we would lose our beloved friend. This time it was another three full days before she started eating anything more than chicken broth. We got her back on eggs and rice very slowly, and after three days of nothing but that, we started mixing in the puppy food again. As soon as we switched her back completely to puppy food, she started throwing up again. I have stopped feeding this food and switched to a different brand of puppy food and she is doing fine. I can't risk losing our family's best friend. These symptoms are very closely related to the lead poisoning I've read about, so I'm very concerned.
