I bought this digital camera and camcorder for my 12 year old son. This is the perfect camera for beginners. Very good price and quality. It can be used with no experience and had no trouble setting it up or having trouble getting it working and learning all the features and functionality. It has amazing image and video quality. We took him on vacation to New York and he loved it. The screen resolution is 2.7K, as well as a large capacity SD card, which is very convenient. It has a 4x zoom that allows you to take great close-up shots. The flash is fast with no lag. Overall he and I are both happy. I highly recommend this camera
