If you're looking for truly seamless socks these aren't for you. They have stings, but they don't cause the tantrums and sock tossing that others cause my daughter. With them, she can adjust the stitching and get on with her morning. Different socks are different. They have been washed many times and have retained their color and softness. I'm buying another set because I really like them and a lot of our first sets went to the land of missing socks which was supposed to have a portal in my dryer. It seems funny to write a positive review about socks, but these are the keepers.
