I'm giving four stars because it's a cool little toy at a decent price. The red coloring on it is pretty nice, and overall it's a cute little gadget. This drone feels very light and therefore a bit flimsy. Expect this thing to take a few hard hits against a wall or other general obstacle once you get used to the delicate control scheme, and I've already sustained a small damage to one of the landing struts as a result. You'll want to see how you use this in slightly windier conditions, as the thing once drove through my parking lot when I took it out for a test run on a slightly windy day. The remote control itself has a cheap feel and also has a hollow plastic construction that's better suited for a short-range RC car. I've also noticed that when the rotor blades open, they sometimes don't latch onto the drone's body, resulting in erratic flight. It also has a spring clip for your mobile phone, which is essential after downloading a free app that gives you visual control of the drone. The battery life is average and the app is fine. All of this suggests that this thing has some value. You can record in 720p with a micro SD card (not included), and once you learn how to fly with it, it gets pretty fun. I would recommend this as an introduction to the wide world of drone flying. I think this is perfect for beginners and just to see if something like this suits you.
