I have a symmetrical Otter Box on my 2020 iPhone SE. I have never cracked an iPhone screen. For the last 7 years I have used the iPhone. And I figured since the screen is more exposed in a case than the protective cases I've used in the past, I went with a screen protector. I can't say if I really like this screen protector. I've used cheaper cases, no screen protector and didn't crack the screen, but I managed to crack this screen protector at least 6 times and it shattered on the left corner edge. This screen protector sits higher than the iPhone's screen but not low enough for the otter to protect the screen, so this screen protector will eliminate any damage. I can't tell if this really protects the phone's screen, but I know the protection was a bit damaged.
