The good things first: The duvet is very soft and warm on both sides. I like to crochet on one side and the sherpa side is very soft and not lumpy like some sherpas. I washed it on a gentle cycle and dried it on a low heat and it held up well. There was no pilling, nothing. The material has held up well. All in all this is a great comforter and larger than the standard throw blanket. Now for the bad. I ordered 60x80 and the label on the duvet says 60x80 but it's not. See attached photos. This blanket is only 50x70. I'm even 6ft tall so it's enough to cover me when I'm sleeping or sitting on the couch, but the fact that it's not the advertised size makes matters worse. Second, because it's double-sided, it's sewn together, but only at the edges. I wish there were seams down the middle so the two halves would hold together better. Third, the sherpa side is larger than the crocheted side, so as you can see in the picture it never lays flat. There will always be something more. Final Thoughts. Despite the 3 mentioned cons, I still love this duvet and will keep it because the pros outweigh the cons. So if you are looking for a beautiful blanket, this is the one to consider.
