Review on ๐Ÿ’พ RGEEK Splitter HDD, SSD, and Optical Drives- The Ultimate Storage Solution by James Roberts

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Standard is 16 gauge, not 18 gauge. Insulation is adequate.

RGEEK SATA Power Splitter Cable, 15-pin SATA to 5 SATA Power Splitter Cable Used for HDD, SSD, ODD SATA Power Cable -24" (ASIN: B096KDM9H2) ----- ------NOTE: 3 stars doesn't mean there's something wrong with the cable. No! There's just nothing unusual about it. It's just a SATA power connector for various applications. You can use it for additional drives, 5- Use V or 12V ARGB hubs and 12V fans and hubs. The only downsides are (1) it's 18 gauge instead of 16 and (2) the insulation isn't as thick as cables came with my meals (The industry standard 12V computer power cord is 16 gauge.) Note that each SATA connector can draw 4.5 amps. Many power supplies only supply 25A on the 5V side. AWG wire will most likely handle 25A but be aware that 16AWG wire is thicker than 18AWG wire I wish only, all computer cables, including RGB and HUB cables, would use the standard 16 AWG instead of 18. Either way, this cable will work for most applications. Two stars deducted because it's thinner than my standard SATA power supply cables and 18 AWG cables instead of 16 AWG. Other than that, there are no downsides and it works flawlessly.
