Overall this broom holder is a good buy for the price. When it arrived I honestly thought it would be a bit longer than it actually was. It is about 15 inches long and comes with 4 hooks and 4 rubber grip automatic clips. The pen holders are the BEST part. They are spring loaded and hold the broom handle very well. It was very easy to install and had everything you need to hang it on the wall. Installation was easy, size is removed to remove 4 hooks and handle holder. Then place the pen holder high enough on the wall for your brooms to hang nicely without touching the floor. Use a small image plane to make sure it's level with the wall. Mark two holes to be drilled. Drill a pilot hole, insert the plastic drywall anchors (provided) into the holes and tap lightly with a hammer until flush with the wall. (If you manage to center the holes on the stud, you don't need anchors.). Then place the holding frame over the holes and attach it to the wall with the two screws provided. Place the hooks and handle holders back into the frame. Then snap the cap back onto the bracket. To work, simply push the broomstick up by pressing from below, keep pushing up until the broom is where you want it, then just stop and pull the handle down slightly. This guarantees the reliability of the handle. To remove the handle, take a cleaning product, slide the sleeve onto the handle and pull the handle toward you and away from the mount. The frame is grooved and designed so that the backs of the hooks and handle holders slide easily into the grooves. but don't get caught on the screws when they're screwed all the way in. It's research, a thick, rigid, brushed aluminum frame and hooks that are very light but strong. I only have two complaints: 1. I wish it was about 3 inches longer to better accommodate brooms, and 2. The broom holder originally left rubber marks on the broom handle, much like a hardwood floor. But with use they disappeared.
