I realize many manufacturers use black to indicate a special edition product, but it looks like a black toothbrush. strange. I've been using OralB CrossAction tips for many years and really like them, even if branded ones are expensive. There are many third party fakes out there, none of them are very good (some don't stick to the handle). What makes these black brush heads special is that the brush is treated to inhibit the growth of bacteria that can damage the fibres. I'm skeptical that this is a real benefit since Braun no longer sells charging pads with slots/cups for brush heads (they trap moisture and can collect bacterial slime). Past, especially since they are to be thrown out every three months. The attachments work well - they fit nicely on my rather old (then) Braun pen. The interchangeable color rings have a different color palette than the standard heads, including white. Maybe the idea is to use them with the newfangled charcoal toothpastes?
