Not perfect, but close

This design concept is all about ingenuity, a la "necessity is the mother of ingenuityโ€. The sun visors on my new Jaguar F-PACE are woefully inadequate. It's 2019! All car sun visors must have extendable visors, or the visor itself must slide out on its mounting bar to block the sun coming in through the side windows, as was the case on my last Infiniti. This item has good functionality but could be improved in several ways. I loved that the attachment straps were stiff and the velcro provided a no-slip grip, but the straps need to be 2 inches closer together to allow for universal use regardless of visor size. Also, the Velcro section on the ends of the straps needs to be 2 inches shorter to accommodate shorter visors like mine and can be trimmed to fit and look better. Some have complained about not being able to maneuver the panels in and out easily, but I don't have that problem as I can leave an inch of lateral extension even with the visor in the closed and raised position. It also helps block sun glare next to the rearview mirror when it's folded down. I think if the item was oriented on a smooth surface the plates would move more easily. All in all, it serves a great purpose.
