I bought the item to wear my son's SMO so he can wear them at home but they don't fit. Unfortunately the front tongue doesn't slide out all the way and the soles don't come off - I got the SMO size so they're a little big now. But that doesn't mean they aren't a good choice. Pants are preferable for my slippery floor and they are quite comfortable. My toddler can put them on and take them off by himself. Would I get them again for the same price if I knew they wouldn't work with braces, probably not, but I'll have them for a while as they're a little big. I just want parents to know that if you're looking for comfy SMO slippers for a size 9 toddler, that's not the case. I increased the size to 10.
