Does what I need. But 3 caveats. 1) This connector _does not_ fit_ on a standard crimping tool. I threw away a few and then used the "nose" of my DB-9 crimping tools to get a good crimp. 2) This is a size 22-16 but I found it more like a 20-16. Not very good for 22 AWG. 3) Note that the heat shrink tubing comes out on a 1/4" blade socket - you can't add a drop of solder. I've adjusted my methods and will continue to use them. But it's not a plug and play replacement for the ( expensive) AMP PIDG Push-On/Fast-On jacks.
