Just out of the box and not very good. With the supplied weight of 500 g, the scale measures 499.91 g. Thus, the accuracy is 0.09 grams (that is, the ability of the scale to measure close to the true value is normal), the accuracy of the scale (d repeating the same measurement several times) seems (0.01 g). ). Ten measurements of the mass of 500g range from 499.89 to 499.91. I also had trouble weighing small masses (0.01g). When I added the powder, the scale didn't register a change in weight for a while, then the reading jumped up. The description says (and the manual too) that the scale can be calibrated, but the built in scale calibration requires a 200g weight, which I don't have. Why doesn't the company provide the weight needed to calibrate the scale? In the second figure, you can see that the spirit level has low accuracy compared to two linear spirit levels. The vial on the two orthogonal line vials is in the center, and the vial on the scale's spirit level is halfway outside/halfway inside the center ring. So the balance appeared to have been calibrated to a spirit level (which measured the 500 gram weight accurately), but when the balance was lined up on two lines (and parallel to the lab bench), the mass was far away. I could recalibrate the 200 gram weight but I didn't have it. And the sensitivity of the scale was too low for my purposes. Finally sent it back.
