I didn't know necklaces could be so beautiful and I've been in the jewelry business for over 20 years. But I gasped when I opened it. The chain is incredibly thin, beautifully finished and looks great. I haven't put it on yet because I have a bad habit of reaching for necklaces in my sleep and pulling them off, injuring myself and breaking the necklace. Yes I know I have to remember to take them off before I fall. I sleep, but often I fall asleep without thinking. However, if the woman in your life doesn't have this bad habit, I think this would make a chic gift (perhaps with a small tag) for any occasion.
