The boxes are strong enough plastic, but the chassis is not strong enough to bend in the middle. The underside of the chassis has two ribs on the left and right ends running front to back. This will easily free the center of the cabinet from a shelf, table or whatever you place it on. let's say 2 mm. If you then fill that with material, even light ones, the center will eventually sag down until it touches, making the chassis appear to sag slightly in the center. I think if you hang it on a wall where the middle can continue to sag, it gets worse because there's nothing in the middle to touch. I bought two of these to hang on the wall. I overcame this sagging problem by bolting a piece of aluminum to the bottom of each to give the bottom the lacking rigidity.
