You get what you pay for.

I bought this set because it was $13 and the set definitely looks like it was made out of cheaper material. The hat and mittens fit and keep my baby warm, but the yarn looks lighter and duller.

Pros

Really good quality hat and mittens, fits my 2 year old perfectly, has room to grow.

Cons

Despite the use of fleece and other warm materials, some parents may find that this set does not keep their child warm enough in extremely cold temperatures.
