I received a bad product. As soon as I opened the package, a sharp and unpleasant smell spread in the air around me. I took advantage of this doubt and immediately washed it, hoping that this would remove the unpleasant odor. Unfortunately I flushed it four times and the smell was still there when I brought it up to my nose. In vain, it still smelled of vinegar. That's the best way I can describe what I felt. I am very upset that I spent money on this set of blankets. Not worth the headache or time to make the smell go away. *Update: After washing, air it outside for a few hours. Thank goodness the smell is gone. I really like this blanket, it was just agony and hard work to remove the bad smell.
