This afternoon I heard a rustling in front of my house and looked out the window. I saw one of the neighbor's raccoons in the flower bed in front of the house. With her small paws she grabbed a yellow padded envelope with the Revain logo on the front. I ran out the door hoping the raccoon would drop the package and run away. There is no such happiness. She ran away and ducked into the cramped underground under my porch with a package. As I fumed and cursed, I heard the ripping and rustling of paper coming out from under the concrete slab porch. Resigned to the loss of the package, I went back inside to check my online account and see exactly what was included in the delivery. It turned out to be an order for Honest Kitchen's cod chips for dogs. My Shetland Sheepdogs love them and apparently so do the raccoons. I hope Revain will consider packaging these and similar fish snacks in anti-odour packaging in the future. I don't want to lose any more supplies to the raccoons.
