This is a very well built and versatile design. It was obviously conceived by someone who is both a keen hiker/biker and a business professional as there are accommodation options for both types of travel. The most obvious creative and practical design element is the ventilation system. This keeps most of the bag's surface area away from the wearer's back and allows for good ventilation of the parts that come into contact. I also really appreciate the integrated rain cover. It is located in a small pocket at the bottom of the backpack and also serves as a cushion if the backpack containing fragile items is dropped. My son, who is a mountain biker, loves the bag for its low profile and water hose exit port on the top of the bag. This allows him to carry a pouch of water, which he normally uses for drinking, along with food, tools, and extra clothing. The bag also features myriad fasteners, hooks, buckles, cords, Velcro, straps, pockets and mesh to attach and secure items of all sizes and shapes to the outside and inside of the bag. Small items can be easily separated from large items, making them easier to find without having to rummage through the entire contents. The material and workmanship is excellent and I expect the backpack to be very durable. Finally, despite the relatively low profile, since the bag is also relatively tall, it has excellent capacity. I definitely recommend this backpack. (Actually, I have two packs, one orange and one black, for me and my family.)
