After years of trying different granules I wrote my dog off as having a sensitive stomach but after hearing about raw dog food I started looking into it. At first the price per pound of each raw food was shocking, but then I realized that since the water is removed during the freeze drying process and you have to add it back (very easy), you actually end up with about 5 pounds of food. so for every 1 pound you buy the price is about $2.6 per pound which is about a dollar more expensive than the old pellets I bought but cheaper than all the other raw food brands and it's good for health my dog's worth (more and better quality of life and fewer medical bills!). The meal has a very short list of ingredients, just salmon (wild caught), pinto beans, hemp seeds, coconut, pumpkin, kale, blueberries, turmeric and vitamins, all for one man! It's like the food I would cook for him myself if I were a better mom and had more time, or the food I would pay a fashion startup $100 a month for. Second hand! Immediately after switching to this food, my dog's poop (which I consider to be a key indicator of his health and proper nutrition) went from light and mushy (which is very difficult to ingest) to hard, brown, and long. He LOVES it too. He's a bulldog, he loves to eat but I've never seen him push the bowl towards me for more and keep coming back to lick the bowl again after licking it clean. Eating is also very convenient for me. Being sublimated it weighs much less and takes up much less space than traditional pellets, the bag can be resealed and all you have to do is add water. Someone left a review that the food is like a watery soup. This man just didn't follow the instructions. After adding the appropriate amount of hot water, the food will look like a soup, but you have to wait 5 minutes for it to rehydrate, and then it will look like a meat stew. I've also seen some commenters saying that it's not enough food on its own and is only intended as a food mix because it doesn't have enough protein(?), but the food itself is a food and has more protein than blue. I fed him buffalo chow and had more protein than the AAFCO standard. In addition, it is very beneficial to health - it has anti-inflammatory effects and inflammation in the body is the root of all diseases. I am so impressed with this food and how it made an immediate difference in my dog and I will not be silent about it in front of all my friends who have dogs. You should definitely try this dish!
