Great overall, the cap is more secure and tighter than the previous generation. The handle is also more ergonomic when filling the tank. I gave it one star because the description says it gives 25% more water per sip. The hose that the refill came with is identical to the previous generation. My wife's Crux (Sport) has a larger tube, bite valve, and a different style of shut-off valve. This is still a great product and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a 3 liter tank. It fits well in almost all of my backpacks, including backpacks made specifically for previous generation short 3L military tanks such as the B. the USMC Hydration Pack, which is part of the USMC FILBE kit.
