Review on Sakroots Womens Convertible Backpack Songbird: Stylish and Versatile Bag for Women by Jathan Louis

I really like this bag

I really want this bag but I can't. The straps never stay in place. Wear it crossbody or shoulder bag, it's knee length in a snap. The size adjustment rings just slip. And they don't always slide evenly. So when you get frustrated trying to put them on like a backpack, they sometimes hang crookedly because one has slipped halfway and the other has slipped completely. If the rings slip off, the bottom of the pouch will crumple, look weird and tilt forward. The valve does not remain closed. . . it's frustrating! I forced myself to keep trying for two weeks, thinking I'd figure out a trick or learn to love it, but I just didn't. The idea is great, the delivery is not. I really wanted it to work, which is why I'm so frustrated that I can't just roll it into my backpack. It usually stays in the backpack position if you set it up properly. But that's if you never want to reach into or change your backpack, in which case I would just buy a backpack. I bought it for its convertibility and it just doesn't work for that and definitely not as a shoulder bag. :(

Pros
  • Welt pocket on front with magnet closure
Cons
  • Hard to say
