I did a thorough research on ARM monitors and this one turned out to be the cheapest considering: price, versatility, positive reviews confirming my requirements: Macbook Pro & Thunder Display . There were a few big surprises: a) I had to buy an Apple adapter separately. Makes sense and I felt a little stupid for skipping it based on my research. In general, instead of obscuring this important detail in any way, they could easily have made that detail clearer. b) This ARM can't lift and hold a 27 inch Thunderbolt display like mine, after going through a lot of BS and days of waiting etc, won't hold the set height and keeps rotating face down. My monitor weighs 21 pounds including the metal adapter I bought: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0160BQA06/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01__o00_s00 ?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I managed to keep the monitor steady, by tightening each screw all the way but it loosens up after a few days and I have to tighten them again. I've decided to just keep this lever because I'll be upgrading my monitor to UltraWide 4K later. Also, I don't really have the time to go through the whole process again. Revain reviews are usually great and I can shop with more confidence, but this one really didn't live up to that standard.
