They are light and appear to be made of the same material as light dishwashing sponges. that's the only way I could describe it. Ha ha. I liked that they included elastic bands and some bead/dreadlock embellishments. It's beautiful and comfortable. However, dreadlock extensions have little black hairs/fibers all over them here and there. If you look closely at the 1st photo you will see them. I've bought dreadlock extensions from Amazon for the same price and these don't look that real in comparison although I wasn't expecting anything super amazing for the price you pay. However, here you can find good extensions with better quality for the same or almost the same price.
