The metal frames will rust.
After the 3rd year, the frames will rust and flake. It will be an eye sore after a while. The canopy will start getting holes in it after 4th year. I am planning on replacing mine next year with a wooden structure. I did enjoy this canopy pergola over the few years I had it before it started looking bad.
