my veil only arrived 10 minutes ago; When I opened it I couldn't wait to write a review! I've been thinking about practicing disguise for 2 or 3 months now. Last week, after being particularly overcome with emotion after Holy Communion (I was literally on my knees crying), I finally made the decision to veil myself during Mass. As a child, I watched older women in my ward wear veils; I've always thought it was beautiful, albeit dated. Only old ladies do that, right? Well, I've either aged or shriveled up in the last few days and have found that covering my head during Mass is the least I can do to show respect in the presence of the Eucharist and to humble myself before God . I've never had a veil so I'm a little confused as to which one to go for. I'm so glad I chose this one! It is beautiful, so soft and delicate, but at the same time pleasant in weight. I would define it as classy, tasteful and sophisticated. The quality is very good, especially considering the low price. Some veils from other vendors were too young in style and quite "flashy"; they weren't for me. The last thing I want to do is distract someone during Mass with something that draws attention—that shouldn't be the point. I am planning to order this veil in both beige and gray as I am very happy with black. Ash Wednesday is the day after tomorrow, and on that day I will put on my beautiful new veil for the first time. If you are just starting to think about veil practice, this is a great place to start; I can highly recommend the purchase. This gives you the opportunity to try without a large investment. If for some reason you decide that a veil is not for you, you can always use it as a scarf to make your outfit stand out. Anyhow, I don't think you will be disappointed, especially at this particular price point. I would gladly pay double for that.
