This is a fabulously adorable wide-eyed owl backpack for toddlers. It is intended for very young children between the ages of 1.5 and 3 years. A leash and connected wristbands are hidden in this mini backpack. When the backpack is empty, there is enough space for a small blanket or your favorite toy. The backpack is made of polyester and nylon, a particularly durable and lightweight combination. The application is made of artificial leather. However, it is not waterproof. I poured some water on it and it soaked the fabric. I always check the hardware on every diaper bag or backpack. What I see outside lets me know how well it will hold up. Metal zip and slider. The clasp and the runners on the back are made of impact-resistant plastic. The synthetic zipper glides fairly well and doesn't require adding graphite to make it work. This backpack must hold up very well as I see very high quality fittings and materials. The leash has a strong metal swivel attached to a rectangular metal ring at either end of the leash. The bracelets are beautifully designed and finished. They have foam rubber inside covered with material. It also has impact resistant fittings. It is designed for quick release and has a small plastic key on the parent/guardian's wristband. I love everything about this little owl backpack. The bracelet ensures that the child stays safe during the trip. I had a runner and a darter and I could definitely use that. The quality is very high and the design is perfect. Priced at around $16, it's quite reasonable considering the quality and range (better than most).
