Review on 🦶 Zamst Ankle Support Brace Stabilizer by Brad Lovro

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Professional foreign basketball player. 6ft 9 " 235lbs

I am 6ft 9" 235lbs tall and have been playing professional basketball overseas for 6 years. I've endured many bruises, sprains and surgeries throughout my career and I believe I have the right perspective on this issue. And now for some ankle braces and bandages that a lot of people don't seem to know about. NOTHING will give you total or complete prevention of an ankle sprain, NOTHING. Don't count on buying this brace to never twist your ankle again. If you land on it, twist it the wrong way, or twist it tight enough, it will stretch. Whether you tape it professionally or wear that brace, ASO brace, McDavid, Aircast, if you land on it hard enough, it will go. Included. There really are minor protective and preventative properties of taping and/or braces. I've been into this game for a long time and tried everything there is. There are many brands when it comes to taping, some are MUCH better than others and if given a choice of quality tape on game day I will tape my ankles. If you don't have access to quality tape and someone who knows how to properly wrap your ankle, this brace is a great option. The only brace I've come across that offers comparable protection is the Air Cast brace. But it's just too bulky for me to wear. The A2-DX is without a doubt the most supportive yet comfortable brace I have ever worn. I know there are other people who will feel better walking (McDavid and others) but in terms of support/prevention and comfort. This is the best bra I've ever worn. I tried this product simply because Steph Curry wears them. The reason is that when a million dollar athlete suffering from chronic ankle problems entrusts their health and safety to a product that they actually wear on court, it has to be a quality product. It turns out that is indeed the case.
