the lower part of the housing does not fit!

I have a MacBook Air 2020 A2179, I spent 5 minutes fitting the lower case before realizing it didn't fit. The bottom of the case is not big enough to fit on the bottom of the computer. I'm upset because I need a case for my computer ASAP because it's brand new, but now I have to order and wait for a new one because it doesn't fit. which means more time with an unprotected computer.
