Velcro cannot be tightened - you can hurt yourself.

My wife ordered them for our child (thought they might be good too) but they weren't good. He has sprained his ankle several times (once quite badly). The straps are too long, there is too much material in the upper and the upper is too stiff and not shaped to hold the foot snugly. Also, the transition where the sole meets the upper is totally flexible, which would be great if the shoe held the foot in place, but since it doesn't, it allows the foot to slide inside the shoe so it does he can suddenly shift. its position on uneven ground. If your child is really inactive, that may be fine, but if they tend to jump in and out, they could sprain their ankle.

Pros
  • I would highly recommend them to your little one. Very durable and easy to put on and take off. The size was on point.
Cons
  • Looks good. Not a very durable boot, but you get more than what you pay for. Order one size larger.
