This product has very good adhesion. had no problem getting it out of my boxes, at least while I had them. Upon unpacking, you smell an extremely strong, almost unbreathable odor that seems to diminish somewhat upon opening in the air, but still smells strong. I live in a small apartment very close to my daughter and usually pack at night when she is sleeping too. It was so loud pulling it from the dispenser that it woke her up lol she asked me to stop packing while she slept. I think he's holding on to himself very well and that makes it hard for him to take the role off and he makes a very loud screech I guess if that makes sense because he's holding on to himself so well. In terms of value for money I haven't sat down and looked at the cost per roll so can't say I usually buy what looks like the best quality at the best price. I don't think I would buy this again. I will probably go back to the brand I bought when I bought it. It's a duck that seems to work really well and doesn't make that loud, horrible noise when you're trying to get it off the reel. or a terrible smell.
