When I took them out of the package, I was surprised at how rude they were. I thought they might get soft with washing, and I still wash everything before putting it on the bed or body. I washed them and they got a little softer, but not by much. At best, they resemble ordinary 300 thread sheets. I put her on the bed. Firstly, I hate when they use a thin elastic band to wrap the sheet all the way around. Although I was able to put them on my 18" mattress, they didn't stay on the beans. I bought queens so they had to stay. The corner almost pops up as soon as someone climbs into bed, let alone 2 people who've been moving all night. I've tried my suspenders and they're still slowly slipping overnight. I don't know if they sank in the wash or something, but there's no way I'm going to fight with the sheets every day. Between that and the lack of softness, they don't rebound on the bed. If you have a shorter mattress and are used to cheap sheets, they'll probably be fine.
